The T-slot mounting system features M8 stainless steel bolts that marry up perfectly to our range of roof racks and roof bars. The weight of any roof top tent is significant and few people have the facilities or means to carry out a proper and safe installation. When combined with the high cost of transport a more viable option is to have us install your new roof tent for you, at Escapade, we firmly believe that customer satisfaction is best served by offering a free fitting service for our roof rack/roof bar combo customers. Whilst offering discounted fitting for customers who already have suitable roof-racks of their own. Based in Swindon, we’re conveniently placed for the Cotwolds, Wales, the South coast and Devon and Cornwall. Everything is preprepared so the time you spend in our comfortable waiting room with TV and Wi-Fi is kept to a minimum before you are free to embark on your first weekend adventure with your new roof top setup.
For self-installation, we recommend that, before purchasing, you find out from the relevant manufacturers about the permissible weight and suitability of your roof rack and vehicle.
